Beautiful Harmonies: Blending Faculty, Staff, and Student Voices for Success
The 2023 ALSSO Conference at the University of North Alabama was a success! On Thursday evening, the conference kicked off with round-table presentations, a concurrent session, a wonderful dinner, and the presentation of our 2023 awards. On Friday morning, we heard from our keynote speaker, Salaam Green; her keynote address was titled "Embracing Belonging as a Model for Student Success." The conference continued with a panel during our lunch session and a variety of concurrent sessions throughout the day, exploring topics such as dual enrollment, various technology tools, engaging lesson ideas, student success programs and initiatives, and mental health challenges. Congratulations to the ALSSO Board, especially Mrs. Anissa Graham, on a successful and meaningful conference!
